Nepean Raiders U14B won the gold medal going home as tournament champions at the Jan 9th-Jan 11th Oshawa Cup. The team played a strong disciplined game bringing home their second tournament championship this season. Congratulations to the players and coaches!
The U14B Nepean Raiders capped off a terrific weekend in Oshawa by winning the Oshawa Tournament with a 4–2 victory in the championship final. The group showed tremendous growth throughout the weekend, combining strong team defence, disciplined play, and a relentless work ethic.
After punching their ticket to the semifinals with a 3–0 win against Leitrim, the Raiders carried that momentum into a 6–2 semifinal win against the home team Oshawa, then delivered a composed, detail-focused performance in the final against a familiar Ottawa opponent in Stittsville.
The coaching staff was incredibly proud of the team’s preparation and commitment to achieving gold, which has been further demonstrated by making the championship game in all five tournaments this season.
