Ryan Straschnitzki, former Humboldt Broncos hockey player will be speaking to NMHA players.  Ryan’s journey is one of resilience, courage, and inspiration. Following the tragic 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash, Ryan was left paralyzed from the chest down. Rather than allowing this to define him, he has embraced his role as an advocate, mentor, and motivator. Ryan has continued to pursue his love for hockey through sledge hockey and wheelchair basketball, aiming to represent Canada on the international stage. His story reminds us of the power of perseverance, community, and hope.
